Description
Expanding Professional Preparedness by Performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival:
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the world's largest performance arts festival. Through the corresponding International College Theatre Festival (ICTF), our students will have the opportunity to create and perform a show for a worldwide audience at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Goals for our students will include enhanced educational experiences, collaboration and problem solving, learning touring coordination skills and theatre management, managing social media and marketing skills, fundraising skills, networking opportunities and participating in further curriculum development and recruitment for our theatre degree paths.
They will also have the opportunity to visit historical sites, gain exposure to the international theatre industry, and reap the advantages of being immersed in another culture, many for the first time.
Finally, students will be able to put this performance on their resume as a professional credit in their field of study.
